Assin Oil Mills Limited was born out of a dual necessity: to bridge the gap between hard-working oil palm farmers and a reliable market, and to challenge the status quo of the industry.

While some viewed oil palm as a mere commodity, we saw it as a catalyst for inclusive development. We set out to prove that sustainable oil palm production isn’t just possible—it’s the engine that drives long-term prosperity for the entire community.

Following a successful test run in 2019, AOML officially commenced full operations in January 2020. Since then, we have evolved from a modest 3-tonne-per-hour (tph) facility into a powerhouse of production. By the end of 2025, we completed a major expansion, upgrading our capacity to 15tph to better serve our growing network of farmers and industrial partners.

Scale & Operations

Strategically located in the heart of the Assin North district, our facility at Assin Nduaso is built for efficiency and reliability.

Location: 2.5-acre industrial site in Assin Nduaso, Ghana.

Capacity: 15 tonnes per hour (tph) as of late 2025.

Operational Excellence: To ensure no fruit goes to waste, we operate 24/7 with three shifts during the peak season. During the lean season, we maintain a steady single-shift operation to ensure consistent supply.

We don’t just hire workers; we build livelihoods. AOML is proud to have facilitated the creation of over 1,500 jobs both directly and indirectly within the Assin community. Our “inclusive development” model supports a diverse ecosystem, including:

Production: Factory technicians and mill workers.

Agriculture: Smallholder farmers and farm service providers.

Logistics: FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunch) aggregators, truck drivers, and tricycle operators.

Value Addition: Artisanal palm kernel oil processors and organic fertilizer manufacturers.
